Are there ways to be ‘cool’ without copying the media? Well of course there are but, we choose to follow everybody else and the media. Being cool doesn’t mean to follow the trends set by the media and peers. Being cool means to wear what you like and be who you are. I love wearing shirts with sayings on them; they always brighten up my day. My shirts are also not plain and boring like a lot of the shirts you can buy in stores. There are so many different ways to be cool, being yourself and having fun with everything you do. Being yourself is a part of being ‘cool’ without the media taking affect on you because its who you are and not who the media says you are. Having fun with everything you do doesn’t mean the media is making you cool. As the world came to be what it is today everything was everything we do reflects on the media. Nobody wants to be different.
